While listening to the scanner this evening it appears as if the Lakemoor Police department may have left the McHenry County Sheriff’s talk group of #1127 and traveled over to talk group #2451 which is the Wauconda Police Department.

Yep, you're right. They switched to Wauconda's dispatch services yesterday, 01 November. They're 8500 units, not 8300 as I posted last week.

Ja, I've been looking for Island Lake as well. They have a couple of talkgroups on Lake County's EDACS system, but I've never heard them on there (and I've been listening for them for three years). I do occasionally hear them on 158.730, but they refer to it as "Local," and there's only chatter, no dispatch activity. I did hear from Chief Larsson that we'd been talking with Island Lake about dispatching for them, but I've heard nothing about that in a couple months. I'll be seeing the Chief again in a couple weeks and I'll ask him where they are now and what the future holds.
