Hearing them battle a brush fire in a corn field right now on the Essex County Fire LTR Passport system:
Essex County Fire Trunking System, Windsor, Ontario - Scanner Frequencies
Doing this by monitoring the system frequencies as conventional for Stoney Point. I also have in their old frequency for fire listed here:
Essex County, Ontario (ON) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
As 169.740, so I wonder if that is no longer in use now? Does anyone know. Then I guess it could be removed from the page. I usually hear county dispatches for fire on the two county wide frequencies listed on that page:
153.77000 XJH397 BM 123.0 PL EFRS - Disp
469.93750 XJH397 BM 123.0 PL EFRS-DispUHF
Once I do, then I have each of the LTR Passport system programmed into different scansets. That way once I hear the dispatch, I quickly enable the scanset matching the area of dispatch, then I can listen in with some success.
