FYI, a few minutes ago I heard I-call traffic on the Lakewood P-25 system from my 396XT. This is the first time I've ever heard I-call on any Denver-Metro P-25 system. Each transmission had a separate flag for Source and Destination radios, which I've never seen with EDACS. Way cool.

Nothing new really. Though publicizing it here may lead to them limit use of it in favor of cell phones or flipping the enc switch for that function.
Xcel Energy's mot P25 system uses this function and in motorola circles is named private call along with phone interconnect.
DTRS does not have this function enabled on their network.
