Hi all, All day I've been hearing Lakewood units being dispatched on Pierce Sheriff West. Any idea if their normal dispatch channel is down? Kinda reminds me of the old days when Lakewood used to be on west.

Were you hearing West on LPD? Was it patched? Could they have been down a dispatcher and combined for the day? Was there an operational issue requiring the departments to patch? Was PCSO short staffed in UP?

It was definitely patched into west....Must have had some sort of issue. And yes talkgroups can go down, technology can have technical issues...

If I remember correctly i remember something about all units going to the 800 mhz band as something was up with system or vice versa i don't recall as I was programming my new sds200 best investment made

Wasn't there someone here that said he got his radio added on to a system by the sysadmin, and he was talking to the sysadmin who said he never authorized that radio, or some #(%& like that?

Yeah, the ferry (WSF type) kid in Everett. He claimed the System Manager GAVE him the SysKey.
