Does anyone know what frequency the ems respond and operate on in the northeast part of Lancaster County? Specifically I am looking for the Zone 1 areas of Reamstown, Reinholds, Ephrata, Adamstown.
I tried 33.60 right after an ambulance was dispatched to E. Cocalico Twp. I was in Denver at the time, but did not hear anything. I wonder if its just a weak station. I tried 33.56, but isn't that just fireground?
33.60 is not the greatest - I'm in the NW part of the county at work, and I can't always hear county on the scanner, much less responding units (mostly 7-4 with a little 7-11 thrown in).
They may also codispatch on the zone firegrounds - I've heard that before.
The UHF med freq's are for ems-hospital comms, etc. They're a standard set nationwide.
The frequency for NE Lancaster County is 33.56 for fire and EMS. EMS in past used 33.60 for all EMS calls, now EMS uses the fire ground frequency for their area. 33.60 is now used for egine company transfers, or as a spare fire ground frequency.
