Lancaster Co Paging Tones

I thought I'd put these decoder tones on the forum for anybody who might monitor Lancaster County fire or ems to test on a Uniden scanner with the tone feature.

I've been working with the tones for a couple of weeks, and feel pretty comfortable that most - or all - are accurate, but I'd appreciate any feedback before submitting to the database / wiki. Thanks in advance !

Note that there is no tones for fire station 13. I believe the county fire administrators may have terminated that department (Pleasant Hill) over financial accounting issues.

Also note that Lancaster County officials used some consistency in assigning the first (EMS) or second (fire) tone, which does make it easier to figure out who is who. Thank you, county officials !

For reference, I'm now using the Commtek two-tone decoding software. The decoding is relatively accurate, and the audio recording feature is VERY useful. Overall, the investment was worth it for my needs. I did most of my logging while "holding" on the fire or ems dispatch channel, but the software did pretty good when I'd be scanning a limited number of frequencies (the wav. files don't make sense if the scanner doesn't hold on the dispatch channel long enough for the dispatcher to I-D the stations being toned out).

Not to side track your thread, but does Fort Mill have a 2 meter repeater on 145.110? If so, what is the PL tone for it? I have a portable repeater that outputs on 145.110/inputs on 147.600 and depending on the weather, I can copy someones repeater. I am going to put a tone on it and don't want to duplicate existing installations.

I don't monitor amateur radio, but there once was a repeater on 145.110 / 110.9 Hz (? re tone) in the Fort Mill area.

My logs show it was the club repeater for the Sugar Creek Amateur Radio Society, but the links I'm seeing via a Google search all appear to be dead / out-of-date.

Sugar Creek is a waterway that runs through Mecklenberg, Lancaster and York Counties, and eventually feeds into the Catawba River.

I should get the opportunity to monitor the frequency over the weekend to check for activity and any PL tones.

Thanks for the info, my repeater is only going to be on for 2-3 day hunt trips and maybe a communications test here and there. That should be the limit of operation I can get from a deep cycle battery small enough to man carry.
