Lancaster County "Classes"

On the Lancaster County webcad, they indicate certain "classes" for some calls. What do they mean? Like for example, "VEHICLE ACCIDENT-CLASS 1" and "ROUTINE TRANSFER-CLASS 3" and "VEHICLE ACCIDENT-ENTRAPMENT-1A "

And help would be much appreciated.

Class 1 .. Lights and sirens.. Get there
Class 2 .. Lights and sirens.. get there when you can
Class 3.. Lights and sirens optional.. Maybe tomorrow (just kidding, Not a super "kill yourself" to get there emergency)

dcr was pretty close: a more exact explanation from my EMS colleagues:

Class 3: BLS Non-emergency
Class 2: BLS Emergency (around my area, almost always with a medic anyway)
Class 1: ALS Emergency

Odd, no ALS non-emergency

Also, on fire calls, The 1-A refers to the box size, i.e. 1 Alarm, 2-A is 2 Alarms, etc.

Lancaster doesn't use the terms BLS non emergency/ emergency or ALS emergency. Berks though dispatches as "BLS Emergency" or "ALS emergency" it's easier I guess. Not sure why we dont get rid of class two here in lancaster.
