Caught a TRS Dispatch (TGID 4701) repeated here. Not sure where it's tx'd from.

Fire Simplex 479.2000 $293

It displayed as TGID 4701 RID 700 NAC 293 on 479.2 simultaneously to the TRS, So good chance the source is LCWC.

33.90 is active despite it's supposed demise.. Interesting.

As well as active traffic on...
VFIRE21 154.28 C156.7

Just an FYI :) (I've seen 33.90 reported by others in the DX logs but was in dis-belief till I heard it myself :geek:)

I would look at license holders other than LCWC for the 33.90 repeated traffic. I can confirm that LCWC shut down their 33.90 simulcast system. So instead of being simulcast from a dozen or so sites, you are probably looking at a license holder rebroadcasting the traffic from a single site. KGC753 would probably be good place to start looking.

That would be my guess as well, being that area has a large number of the aka "Non-English" type volunteers.
New Holland would likely be that source. It's not receivable south of the high ground that separates the county to the south from the central plain and farther north. (An imaginary line that travels from about Holtwood/Truce (or the Buck Hill) in the west toward Gap following Mine Ridge and White Oak Rd. to the east) The signal drops off south of that line, and is not receivable at my QTH in the Kirkwood area.

There are hilltops south of the line that would yield reception possible, but it's not receivable in the hollers.. (y)

FYI for Lancaster county local listeners,

Fire Simplex 479.2000 P25 NAC D66 appears to use TGID 1 with RID's the same (native) to the LCWC TRS as monitored from the southern end storm activity yesterday. I would think this is true countywide, but can't confirm that. NAC 293 is possibly a spurious voice channel bleeding over from the TRS when close to a south zone tower..

I hadn't checked in a few weeks with DSD+, The South Site no longer has the flip flop NAC thing going on any longer, All traffic is NAC D63 on the voice channels, Not seeing NAC 293 any more. Tech(s) must have fixed it. :geek:

Is 462.775 still rebroadcasting fire traffic in Lancaster? I didn't hear anything on it while passing through on the turnpike about a month ago.

I believe that Lancaster County did away with both the 462.775 and 33.90 rebroadcast several years ago
Crossband Repeater is still active, was in the area and heard it yesterday although it was scratchy 462.775 C114.8 not sure who runs it, may never have been LCWC operated. It was carrying TRS fire ops traffic, not sure which one A, B, C.
maybe FCC Callsign KNNF476 (HOSPICE OF LANCASTER COUNTY)

Follow up, after listening to some recordings, 462.775 was carrying EMS/Fire LCWC TG 4701 TRS Dispatch and Tones along with some Ops/Response traffic also TG's 2001 A, 2005 B, 2009 C with dispatch having priority.
33.90 CSQ was heard as well.
can't be ruled out, but based on signal strength I'd say it's KNNF476.

IDK why either entity would, that's why it's a mystery. I chose Salunga because Willow St is very close, this signal was too weak to be from there, very scratchy, IMHO. It could be neither. An expired license, or even not in the county, but again the question why? 😄
