*Even though it doesn’t have the talkgroup ID’s, but with this list they will be easier to determine. It is good to see that there will be dedicated medical consult talkgroups.
*The med channels could possibly be used as patch talkgroups to hospitals in neighboring counties.
*If I was an end user I would also like to see dedicated patches to neighboring EMS, fire, and law enforcement (i.e. Cecil, York, Chester, etc.)
*There are 4 dedicated secure talkgroups listed. I’ve monitored 3 that have been part-time encrypted and 7 that were full time encrypted.
*This list probably does not cover everything / all users. I understand that some information may have been kept FOUO.
There are also some questions that this generates:
1) what does the green highlighting over the med talkgroups represent? Possible full-time encryption?
2) will we see some dedicated ISC (interstation chat) and dedicated volunteer company talkgroups like Baltimore County and Harford County have, respectively?
3) what are the mystery (blank) talkgroups and zones? My observations with some public safety radios are that they require all channels to be filled - you can’t leave blanks when programming.
4) will there be dedicated all-call channels?
I would expect the system’s users to grow after it is initially implemented.
These documents are definitely a good start; nice work.
