I don't have specific information about Lancaster county pagers, but the FCC has mandated part 90 licensees between 150 and 512 MHz switch to using 12.5KHz channels (or a technology that allows 1 voice path per 12.5 KHz) by January 1, 2013. This is a switch from the older 25 KHz channel size. It's basically an attempt to double the available spectrum by mandating that the amount of spectrum each channel uses be cut in half.

You can check out Narrowband for some more info.

I stopped receiving all police, ambulance and fire radio transmissions for Kearney & Buffalo county about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I assume it’s because of the narrowband change. I’m using a BC 346XT scanner. Can someone tell me what I need to do to receive these frequencies again? I’ve always just programmed the scanner from the Radio Reference database. I tried reprogramming the frequencies but I’m not receiving anything. Any suggestions? Thanks.

i made a trip to kearney last friday night and found that all the sql codes have changed but the frequencies remain the same... heres what i figured out

kpd 453.1000= 351 DPL
kpd-f2 453.5500= 364 DPL
buffalo co. so f1 453.4250 = 343 DPL
ravenna tower for buffalo county 463.0750= 343 DPL
buffalo county jail 453.0625= 365 DPL
kearney vol fire 460.6250= 412 DPL
buffalo county vol fire 453.0250= 423 DPL
med 9 462.9500= 371 DPL
med 10 462.9750= 413 DPL

thats all i have current at the moment... tried submitting my new finds to RR database last week and they must not believe me or something. so reprogram and enjoy!
