Yep sure is a dead zone there it was also a dead zone for LFD many years ago also.

The problem with LFD a few years ago was due to MPSCS.

This is a different issue - but as noted in the article, it was fixed last year. The article is just saying that the city wants the county to pay for the time their radio staff spent working on the county's system.
