Can anybody tell me where can I find Live LAPD scanner feeds that work? I've been getting broken links for years (i.e. APBOnline, Yahoo! Broadcast, etc). Is there something out there that I can listen to thats either LAPD or LASD? Please reply as soon as possible.

It works! Thanks phone_guy! Haven't heard any live LAPD feeds in nearly 5 years (the days of APBOnline.com).

One more question: Does the LAPD & LASD have one central frequency for the city? The NYPD back here in NYC has numerous division freqs, usually accomodating 2 precincts under 1 conventional freq.

LAPD 484.7125 citywide

LAPD has a frequency they call "Air/K9" on which they broadcast all emergency calls citywide, 484.7125. It is multicast on 484.350 & 484.400 to give better coverage for the far north and south parts of the city. I'm not aware of any similar frequency used by LASD.

The NYPD back here in NYC has numerous division freqs, usually accomodating 2 precincts under 1 conventional freq.
Every LAPD division has its own dispatch frequency, but at times they will patch two divisions together to one RTO (dispatcher). Most commonly the four bureau-wide traffic divisions will each be tied to a patrol division within their bureau. The dispatch frequencies are all conventional and duplex.
