LAPD Officer Down 2/12/05 10:30 PM

I am listening to some of the Valley LAPD Districts this evening and I just heard this call on the Devonshire dispatch freq.:

...unknown officer needs help...
...officer down...

All channels were mostly quiet for about a minute. Then I heard a few misc. calls go out, but nothing more on the officer down.

After 5 minutes, North Hollywood went through a roll call that lasted about five minutes. All were accounted for.

Anyone else hear this call?

Apparently, the call was a false alarm. Still sent chills down my spine.

I checked the LAPD website press release and nothing on officer down. Plenty of new reports though!
