LAPD Shoutcast Stream

Vinman,

I was wondering if you are still streaming LAPD Live audio from 8PM to 12AM. I have been going to Shoutcast for the last few weeks and entering lapd in the search field and nothing comes up. On previous occasions this has worked and I've picked up your stream beutifully. I was just wondering if it's down or otherwise unavailable. I also wanted to thank you for running it. I have enjoyed listening to it in the past. I'm just a little to far south (San Diego) to pick it up with my equipment...

live stream for lapd, laso, chp, and various other pd, so frequencies go to: www.goteaspeak.com, and download the client software. follow the instructions on how to register. Once register you will be able to enjoy this site. They also have an alert system to notify you of live coverage on teamspeak. enjoy and be safe! :lol:

I`m interested in listening to live audio from the LAPD.I followed the link to install Teamspeak (the client version,not the server).However,it seems that I would need something else,like,the server address?Can someone here help with some tips? Thanks!

Firstly you MUST register with scannerbuff.....

Then here is the feed for TeamSpeak:

OK.I registered with scannerbuff.Got an e mail verifying,clicked the link,activated....

When I open Teamspeak,what then will I use for username and password? Because if the password is my membership number,then,it`s not working.In the connect to server tab,I clicked the local address book tab,under server created a new server,entered the server address,my user name,selected registered,entered my username and password (membership#?)

Clicked connect and got a "Bad Login (name and or password wrong)"
Obviously I`m missing something :?: :?: :?: :?

Pick a nick... pick a pw... pick a login name....

1 2 3 and your on your way.


Once you login as unregistered.. you have the toolbar to use to register with the server.. thats where you set that up.

Also NOTE- With Teamspeak you now have access to scanmass, scan FL... and others. On the Cali one there is now a fulltime live feed from the County in which CK SFC is located.. and with upcomming shuttle launches again.. this will be fun to monitor!

Okay,managed to connect.Sorry to keep asking questions here,but sometimes manual is not very clear...

To the left of my name,instead of the green dot I see next to everyone else`s name,I`ve got what looks like a box with a red X over it.Now,at other times I was playing with TS,i.e.,switching channels,I would appear with a green dot.But then I do something else or keep switching channels and the box with the red X appears.What does this means?

I know this thread is a bit old, but I just came upon it and tried to setup to listen to LAPD/LASD and others. When I try to connect without a username/password, it says "Error" and displays "Bad login (usernname or password)....so apparently you can't be a guest anymore?

How else can I access their channels online?
