I'm in South Bend and trying to listen to LaPorte and Michigan City PD/FD but no luck. I can pick up LaPorte county Police an Fire but not any cities. A few months ago I was able to pick up some chatter on LaPorte city safe-t ops 1 TG but nothing since. Are their any new talk groups/ frequencies for LaPorte/MC or am I just to far?

I dont really pick up Laporte City, they did switch tones on each of there channels, if you have the tones in I would take them out, I Heard Laporte City on both and the time I did they were not using the DPL tone it was PL, but that could of changed by now.

Michigan City I heard them a couple days ago, I dont pick them up all the time.

LOVE AND BLESSINGS

Well when I was manually putting the frequencies into my 800, I just left the code section blank. When LaPorte PD pops up, its showing DCS 071. That's under the frequency 155.715. I'm also getting a lot of traffic on Michigan City now. I also left that blank and when the PD/FD dispatch pops up, its showing auto for 155.610 (PD) and 155.6775 (FD).

Your Welcome, it was Not a problem:) Glad I could help you on the info:) Michigan City PL is 141.3 for the PD, I seen that yesterday.

Yeah that ones in the database are right, I just seen the old PL before also on 155.715, also remember they have 155.0850. I have heard them on both freqs. I Just left the tone out so just in case it switches, I wouldnt miss it and I dont get good signal so if I had them in it wouldnt pick them up, the TONES being different, it might not no more this was about 3 months ago, so they might have been changing stuff:) That is awesome glad you got it picking them up now. LOVE AND BLESSINGS and Happy Holidays to you to Brother and Be Safe:D

So if the DPL's weren't right any longer, what were the PL's for both?

They are right, I just seen it change a while back, and for him he might be far so he might not pick them up with the tone in:) I think the Tone used to be 141.3, but I am not sure. LOVE AND BLESSINGS and Happy Holidays Daniel
