laptop and pro-97

for the pro 97 I have no problems with or with out but I think I ran into problems with the pro 2053 with out the adapter so I just leave it on

What a coincidence!

Must be a popular combo because I have the same scanner,laptop,and cable!! I love my Pro97 and my Presario 2100. I haven't had any problems with either. Good Choice!

Yep, that's the same one I have. I use it all the time for running the APRS program Ui-View when mobile in my car. Good little laptop but the harddrive died last year. I got a new one, 60gig vs the original 40gig, plus I added another 256meg of RAM. I also added 256md to the already 256 that it came with boy did it make it faster:lol:
