I have always had pretty good luck with eBay. Definitely shop around, but if it seems too good to be true it probably is. I thought I was getting a great deal on a VAIO laptop battery for $40, turns out the battery has to have a special chip in it. I believe that is only for Sony laptops though, so you should be OK.
