Hey all. Recently moved to the are with my Uniden Bearcat BC895XLT. Was looking to see if you guys know the local frequencies. I can pick up railroad and fire/ems dispatch, but is there something I'm missing in terms of the actual police bands/car to car/dispatch to car??

Also, I want to install a scanner and/or VHF radio in my truck to be able to listen to certain frequencies, this a possibility yes??

Wyolink trunked system required for State stuff. You can explore down that link pathway to see what's there.

(I don't know if your model radio will work on it or not. I use Radio Shack scanners.)
