Noted after a week of monitoring that the Laredo PD Patrol 1 and 2 groups are not forced encryption. I have logged enough transmissions and heard clear voice but its still 90% encrypted. PD Events have been clear as well. Fire - Fire Dispatch and EMS Dispatch have both seen a healthy amount of clear transmissions.

Webb County continues to be clear on the GATRRS side, SO and Fire. I would need a few weeks of staying in town to assess the schools, colleges, airport and businesses. There is plenty there but a lot of espanol.

Laredo PD was in the clear a few months ago for about 2 weeks. Webb SO and Fire are on both analog and digital channels due to problems with GATRRS problems at the north side of the county.

Laredo PD was in the clear a few months ago for about 2 weeks. Webb SO and Fire are on both analog and digital channels due to problems with GATRRS problems at the north side of the county.

The Botines site was showing isolated when I drove through, but carrying traffic on SO and Fire. The Laredo site was connected to Hebronville, Freer and Zapata. I do not remember seeing Mirando City on the air come to think of it.
