There is an ongoing large apartment fire in Newport News. Battalions at buildings 753, 757, 747, 741, 745 + others on Brick Kiln Rd in the Kiln Creek section of newport news. (Apartment buildings are all 3 floors, 12 apartments per building) I believe building 753 is the main scene of the fire.
I did not hear the initial call, picked up on it as all the fire trucks passed me on Jefferson Ave.
NN fire is currently using Tac 2 as a main channel, battalions are also communicating with each other on Tac 4, Tac 6, and Operations 12.
Anyone else listening know what battallions are on scene? I have heard tower 10 has their ladder up as well as other towers.
Also, Hampton engines are on scene.
