Large Grass fire Stroud/Milfay area

there's a large grass fire on the Turner Turnpike in the Stroud/Milfay area; both Stroud and Milfay FD are onscene with OHP; I am listening to two troopers deciding where to send fire units on Turner 1 (42128)

I think it's all under control now, or at least closer to it. OHP says it was centered around the 184 mile marker. One trooper reported about 50 feet visibility at one point...

just got another call on it.... wonder if it flared up again?

thats weird, if im correct that area got 3 or 4 inches of rain 2 weeks ago...whats burning?

from the calls we're getting: grass, trees, you name it.

it's hot and gettign dry again....uh,oh!

yeah, I guess it flared up, but not for long. I haven't heard anything more about that area for a couple hours now

Getting more reports of smoke & visible flames from the Turnpike... OKC is getting someone en route to check.
