Larimer County sheriff VHF?

Does the Larimer County sheriff still use the old VHF frequencies specifically LCSO1? I only hear them on the state wide P25 system and have not heard a peep on VHF. Could they be used only as back up or what?

If you are referring to 155.130 yes it is still active as a backup for dead zones. Very inactive but definitely still on the air. 154.385 is also used by S.O. as well.

Yes. They use lcso 2 and firenet all the time for backup, especially up north along highway 14.

There really isn't anything good. SAR would be something to keep on hand, but they also the DTRS. I wonder what Yellow cab uses?
