It would be nice if it covered 2m & 70cm, but I am not holding my breath on that part. What's the SWR at 146.520? Anyone checked?

Anyone using this ?
Just tried to screw it on a NMO mount and it’s very tight hard to screw on.
Anyone have the same issues ?
No problems with mine, did you accidentally cross thread it on?Anyone using this ?

Mmm..... no I made sure
it sat probably before I threaded it on. One of the threads actually came off.
Bought a Browning NMO from Amazon. It was a discontinued product only one left so I bought it. They’re going to give me a full refund .
Went ahead and bought a Laird from antenna farm .
Hopefully it works out better than the first junk. Should’ve bought a good one from the get go
Thanks for the pic, that looks good! Love the all black, mine still has some regular stainless steel. The base is also a lot more low profile than my Laird.Works quite well I must say

I don't know much about antenna performance characteristics, but I have this one https://www.theantennafarm.com/catalog/laird-technologies-wpd136m6c-001-4286 and it has slightly larger ranges (except it starts at 760 instead of 750 to 870) . Would this new antenna perform better since the ranges are smaller so they're more "tuned"?

Bummer it doesn't cover the VHF or UHF air bands.
