A couple of months ago, I started hearing a lot of static from my Uniden scanners when monitoring PD channels. Specifically, the LCPD channels on the Las Cruces EDACS system.
I was wondering what might have changed (lots of possibilities there), then last night, I noticed that the Las Cruces P25 system has been added to the database.
I don't know if that has anything to do with the static, but I programmed the P25 site frequencies into my BCD325P2, and started hearing LCPD right away.
(Note that the P25 frequencies appeared previously in the database as LCNs 08 through 12 on the EDACS site.)
The Talkgroup IDs are currently exhibiting a pattern: To compute the P25 ID in decimal format, add 11000 to the decimal EDACS ID.
