Is anyone aware of any new trunking systems not on RRDB?
Is anyone in the valley able to receive Hoover Dam p25?(from the valley not at the dam)
If so please tell me what equipment you are using and location approx ie. SW/NW/NE

What is your favorite freq range or system to monitor?

Has anyone scanned a Hollywood type event ie. celebs and security at any major hotel or casino recently?

Has anyone heard anything interesting listening to stage freqs and lighting etc. from the Hotels?

Please share your tid bits and freqs on this post.

Las Vegas is a great place to scan I just thought if I weren't alone I could gain something and grow this scanning hobby. To share with all of course.

I run the IBN web site and broadcast from locally here Las Vegas police and fire.
thats pretty much the main stuff I listen to and do ... I listen to Caesars Palace Security since my job relates to them pretty closely.

As far as the new trunking system its the new OpenSky - Not scannable from what I know.
They arent supposed to be going to it for at least a year from now that I know of, and yet further depending on funding of corse. Its a big project.

You wont hear celeb names going over the radio at all, protocol -
Its kind of hit and miss. A lot of the celebs havent been in town lately, wont be till the parties pick up in another month.
