what exactly are these frequencies for? i enjoy them a lot actually. it seems i hear things like bait cars, helicopters tracking vehicles, unmarked cars following vehicles, drug deals being watched, etc....kinda fun!

I believe they are special operations frequencies..for detectives and what not. They were previously named INV tacs....

They were previously investigator channels. Now they are dept. wide tac channels and are shared by investigators, surveillance crews, and all around large operations.
