The 2020 California fire channel listing shows 163.7125 PL 0.0 as Lassen Tac

not sure if that is the only tac - or the primary tac - or the primary fire tac

??????

RRDB shows several tac channels for Lassen NP - 163.7125 is 1 of them

-------------------

maybe I just found the answer

at a 2nd spot in the listing - 163.7125 is listed as Lassen FIRE tac

The NPS will use all 4 of the 2005 allocated narrowband federal government wide itinerant frequencies. Most parks I'm familiar with moved away from the old ones, 168.3500 and 163.1000. 168.3500 was nearly universal in parks prior to 2005. Now they have a choice of 4. Sometimes they show NIFC tacs for fire tacs within a park, however, NIFC has directed that the NIFC frequencies are to be used for National Type I and II incidents only, so other fire tacs have to be found.
