Last question for a while....I hope.

When scanning a trunked system (in this case an LTR site), is there any way during an ID search, once it locks on to a tgid, to see what frequency it locked on to?

As always, many thanks in advance.

Close to Toronto ON.
Change your display mode, push hold then push function then zero ( this toggles you from display mode 1 & 2). Push resume/hold to continue. This should give you the freq also. I would suggest you read over this easier to read manual at http://myweb.cableone.net/marksscanners/BCT15/bct15.html.

Thats what first jumped in my head as well, but that doesn't do what he wants it to do...

Remember this is for a LTR system...

I just tried it on mine sitting here beside me

The closest to what to want is a feature called active channel display

While scanning your system hit hold then push function (knob) then .No

The little bars will show you what channels are active at the time..

I know it doesn't show the freq. but I think thats as close as your going to get...

Hope that helps :)

Well, that seems to work with conventional frequencies but not with the trunked site I have programed in.

I've read the manual at the link provided, but it doesn't shed any light as to why the freqs aren't showing up in the LTR system.

Never mind, I got it. Just another D'OH moment. LOL :D

Along with FUNC and Zero, I also had to toggle the trunking indicators on or off by doing FUNC and "./No"

This scanner can be frustrating but then the best thing since sliced bread when I figure out a new function

Is it possible to do this on a BR330T. I looked in the easier to read manual, searched display with no luck of finding anything.

Right now I am assuming I cannot, but if I missed something, hopefully someone can fill me in.

Thanks. (Hope I am not hijacking this thread).
