I have a BC 246T and have waited to the last minute to try to get this thing programmed for an airshow this weekend. I have a file that I have downloaded and pushed into my scanner, but any freq above 224 MHz will not go in. I thought I read in MT that this scanner should work for monitoring airshows. I would love to be able to listen to the Blues. Could someone help me? I'm on AIM, if you want to give me a shout that way... CFDBattChief. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No the 246 is not milair capable in the 225-400 mhz range.

However, you MIGHT be able to get the 139 mhz area in NFM, where the MT article lists 139.8125, 141.5625 or 142.6125 as possibilities. I'm not sure if the 246 can override the usual mode in this band, but it's worth a shot.

Thanks

Needless to say, I'm disappointed :-( I was really hoping to be able to listen-in for the first time. Thank you to all of you that answered my post at the last minute, I appreciate the help.
