Laughlin Nevada

On two occasions I posted a new thread asking for information on the CC fire ambulance for Laughlin Nevada, each time I was referred to Southern NV Radio Scanner book as a source of the information I'm looking for.

I just got the book but still looking for a little guidance. I'm looking for CC fire for Laughlin Nevada. Looking at page 14, which would be the best site to program my scanner for this area. Their is at least 3 sites I can see that my look to be the one, help please.

If You Are Driving On I-95 In Nev Be Carefull Max Speed Enf By Nhp Is Very Very Active I Know Just Got A Ticket Yesterday!!!!!!
Ps For 8 Mph Over The Posted Speed.oh $350 Dollars!!!!!!!!

Laughline Area

The CCFD in Laughlin has both VHF and 800 MHz capability and I would assume the Mohave County fire frequencies as well. In laughlin I would monitor 154.340 for fire services as it is licensed to the County for fire purposes. The Clark County trunking system has a site which serves the Laughlin area assuming it is turned on and it is on Spirit Mtn.
In the near future look for all the fire activity in Laughlin to be on the trunking system.

For the LVMPD look at the book on page 4 and choose channels 13 and 14.

On Page 14 look at Spirit Mtn. sites WPOZ302 and WPUP510 and try these. When a serious fire is reported in Laughlin such as at a hotel the FD creates a link between VHF in Laughlin and a talk group on the trunking radio system as equipment will also roll from LV to Laughlin and they can then easily talk to one another.
