I may be pretty late on this, as I've not had time to focus on scanner stuff until recently. I finally fixed the antenna for the Lawrence County (OH) feed and it's performing much better especially with MARCS reception.
I redid the MARCS bank in the scanner as well (updated TG's and sites) and over the past few days of listening, it does appear Lawrence County has finally made a transition to the MARCS system for the most part. Previously it was only LCEMS and a handful of PD agencies, but I have not heard anything on the LCSO VHF channel in a while, so I assume LCSO is over on MARCS entirely. Most of the Fire operations that I have been able to listen to seem to be on MARCS as well, with a limited amount still on the analog FD channels (the feed is programmed to listen to the Fire Out channel, and the incoming UHF links to Dispatch as the FD channels were a duplex system) along with a repeater for the Rome/Proctorville area. I'm not sure if Ironton is utilizing MARCS now or if they are still using their repeater.
If anyone in the area has some more input, that would be awesome, since I don't have a lot of time to dedicate to listening. I do plan on setting up a Calls ingest at some point, just need to order a couple Airspy's to do so.
