Second time I've heard after a box is transmitted the Deputy announces that all companies responding to this incident change over to channel 2. I hear nothing past that point. I have Lawrence Fire 1, Lawrence Fire Red, LFD Stations, LFD Direct, VTAC 14 scanning and heard nothing until car 21 returns to Central and says he back in quarters on channel 1.
Any ideas?

Would you care to share these various other LFD frequencies with us so we might be able to help investigate what is going on?

Oct 21 2018 info

PL 77.0 seems to be the correct CTCSS for 156.075 used by Lawrence MA FD for station alerting

heard 3 box alarms in a row go out on 156.075 - and the PL was 77.0 for all 3 box alarms

just the dispatcher is being heard on 156.075

Happened again at 85 Manchester St fire. Had all 4 channels in my handheld and all 4 on open squelch on my desk top with outside antenna. Car 21 switched operations to "channel 2". Heard no further comms except fire alarm talking at times to car 21. Did anyone else monitor that fire and heard any comms? (my desk top receives BPD and BFD fine so its not I don't have the reception problems)
Thanks,

from Arlington today heard - 154.445R main channel - 156.075 for station alerting - did not hear anything on 154.025

apparently if the unit is in their station - just 156.075 is used for alerting

if one or more units are not in their stations - then 154.445R is used for dispatching - and probably 156.075 also

can anyone hear anyone else besides the dispatcher on 156.075?

box 7111 was sent for ?Bailey Rd? - one 911 call was received for alarms sounding - just 2 engines and 1 ladder were sent - it was a single family dwelling

I thought they sent 3 engines, 1 ladder, and the rescue on all box alarms - guess not

I have noticed only dispatching on the 156.075 frequency also. I did hear them use the 153.83 frequency . Dispatcher told them to go to Channel 2; one LPD FF asked, "Is that the Essex County channel?" I haven't heard any FF operations on the 158.7625 at all.

Getting interesting now. Might just have to call fire alarm super. and ask but trying to figure this out.
Heard the box this afternoon. 156.075 is for Dispatch Only! goes to all or selected stations. FA rebroadcasts box on 154.445R.

I heard switch to channel 2. I had every LFD channel open squelch in case and heard nothing.
Never heard anything on 158.7625.
There was rumor that they were going to make the 2 auxiliary channels their extra FGs since they are pretty much defunct now except for a couple guys left for bigger events. They still use those channels so that never materialized. Just for kicks had them on scan but nothing during the box.

Thanks for the reply.
153.89 and 156.210 are auxiliary police channels
and, all the channels related to 460.55 are drug channels P25 and heavy encryption. They have 2 repeaters for 2 separate reasons
