At approx. 20:00 hours yesterday, I was listening to my scanner and mainly monitor Eastchester Fire, Eastchester Police, Bronxville/Tuckahoe Police Westchester County Fire 46.260 tone out, and Westchester County Police. Bronxville Police received a call from a staff member stating that someone saw what appeared to be a shotgun on a unit so a massive response from just about every agency in Westchester County including NYPD. Lawrence Hospital was put into a lockdown asap. This all ended up turning into a false alarm by about 11:30pm or so.
At this time, and in todays world, if you see something, you have to say something. After listening to all of the agencies involved, especially Bronxville PD and WCPD, these men and women did a GREAT job brining this incident to a closure. WCPD was on 155.310 and anyone not at this scene was switched over to their F.3 frequency on 155.550 and Bronxville/Tuckahoe Police on 155.490 did a awesome job. This was GREAT team work and what they drill for over and over in todays world.
