A Lawrence Police Officer was killed last night (3/5/05) in an accident, while protecting Lawrence/Indy/Marion County. Officer Craig Herbert, was killed when his patrol car was hit by stolen mini-van being chased by police officers.

Damn shame! Did they catch the clown driving the stolen van? If so, hopefully the Marion County Confinement officers at the jail show their appreciation to the scumbag for the duration of his stay there.

What a shame. This is a very sad story. What is also sad is the fact that our liberal justice system infested by liberal, bleeding-heart judges will go easy on these two juveniles. When will our justice system hold thugs such as these juveniles accountable for their actions? I am steaming just thinking about this story.

Or, they might get lucky and get some knob slobbin' republican judge who is friends with their knob slobbin' republican parents. Or, the knob slobbin' republican parents will pad the pocket of the knob slobbin' republican judge (a notorious practice in the GOP) who will in turn go light on the youths.

Only an moron, right wing idiot would use a tragedy like this to cement his or her division in political party lines.

Why not exhaust you're right wing energy into something a little more you're speed, like daylight savings time?

I am very curious as too what part of Indianapolis these teens lived. I highly doubt the parents of these teens are Republicans. Face it, liberalism breeds criminals. That is the bottom line. Deal with the truth, Schnit.

By the way, I'm not a right-wing Republican...I'm a Libertarian. Regarding DST, I could care less. However, I don't buy the argument that DST will improve the economy in Indiana. If that were true, businesses would be flocking to Alabama to set up shop....and we know that isn't happening.

I dont agree that liberalism "breeds" criminals like you say. Regardless of partly lines, individuals on both sides commit their share of crimes. I also dont wish to change the topic of this thread, I mourn for the family of this Indiana peace officer and his family. It was a senseless tragedy and I truly beleive, as a regitered Dem, that these youths should face the stiffest punishment, regardless of their age. Hopefully what ever judge they get will hand down a punishment that fits the crime, no matter which way he or she votes.
