It is over after 25 hours

It is over.

Loud boom heard in area this morning.

The suspects had told police they had an explosive device.

I am waiting to hear what happened.

The AP is now reporting...

"A hostage standoff at a Statesboro attorney's office that lasted nearly 25 hours has ended.

A man and a woman who had been holding the lawyer hostage since about 9 a.m. Monday surrendered about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Larry Schnall, a spokesman for the Georgia State Patrol, said. There was no immediate word on the conditions of the lawyer or the man and woman."

The press is also reporting that -

"There was some sort of exchange of lethal and non-lethal fire".

Go figure?

Not that I don't feel for anyone caught up in a hostage situation, but I think it telling that it was a lawyer. What other occupation wins no matter what--

Then they will scream like a stuck pig when a Plumber or other worker wants to get paid a living wage for working on their house. Been there done that :(
