LBPD To Narrow

On the late Aug 14 and early hours Aug 15 The City of Long Beach Police will convert to narrowband. We will also be changing to DPL like we did to fire. This is so a wideband radio will not work.

All of our narrow channel will be DPL to prevent wide radio use.

Police are all narrowband. Airport safety will be converted next week. Most likely on Aug 22.

Everything is working but some voter receivers remain to be done. All PD officers are required to use the narrow repeater zone. I have been programming missed units non-stop.
