Just heard "5409 radio check" on LCRA-SA5, dispatcher responded. Only radio id I saw was 999280. I came running in from another room when I heard the transmission. Nothing after that.

ID's that start with 999 are VHF radios patched to the system. SA-5 or Bexar Com as it is called now is patched to 155.7525(VCall 10) and to the SA/Bexar County Provoice system Common 1 talk group. I have heard all kinds of different agencies usually by accident key up on that channel unless it is during the weekly roll call Friday mornings.

Converse PD had BCSO East patched to their "channel 2" for a little while today. Usually means Converse is helping out on calls in the county when the SO gets stretched thin. You would think in 2017 CPD would have the Provoice system in their radios and just switch to the channel.

I have noticed recently that San Marcos PD and fire are appearing more and more on the Kingsbury site.

Someone with a radio affiliated with the system must be near the Kingsbury site a lot and on those channels for them to trigger on that tower and for them to show up on the P25 system. Since they are on the Opensky system.I saw Live Oak dispatch show up on the Austin site before so talk groups can show up anywhere.

11053 on the New Braunfels site is a new one not in the database. Two units talking about traffic and blocking off a parking lot for some private club. Can't tell if it is NBPD or FD.

Hello, so Tuesday 8/29/17 I had one of my HP-1E's in Discovery record mode on the Live Oak P25 site.
To conserve time and memory space I just recorded 60 seconds max of all talkgroups that appeared.
In total that day I got 9 known, 3 new unlisted TG's and 16 x 65xxx patch talkgroups recorded.
Of the 3 newly discovered TG's, 12114 was easy because they verbally ID'd this TG as CH7 / CID CH
and I already submitted just that 1 TG. The other 2 TG's I listed below with sample traffic to help ID.
I believe they are both Cibolo Public Works type TG's and I list my best guesses based on verbal traffic.

12114 2f52 D CiboloPD CID Police CID (CH7) Law Tac
Example traffic:813 dispatch on CID, for this follow up out on FM78 we are going to be on CH7 or CID CH,
So we did Z1/Z2/Z3/Z4,Do you wanna do the drive way? / Yeah cause thats where the body ended up, body at
Z5, will go to X1 for the first curve,Let's do the drain,umbrella,emblems,body,818?,left hand will be LF

12137 2f69 D Cibolo Grnds - Public Works - Grounds related? Public Works
Brief traffic:302,300,...Public Works,300 to 400, Q: Do you have a key? post driver in your truck?

12138 2f6a D Cibolo Signs - Public Works - Streets Public Works
Example traffic:204,203,202,baricades,cones,sand bags,reset the pole,putting up stop signs,etc
Locations mentioned: Wiederstein Rd, Dietz Rd, Borgfeld Rd, Schaefer Rd
Names mentioned: Erv, Russel, Tim (203?).

Hey Don and NC5267, under the LCRA P25 WIKI page we need to map out some more information
such as ranges of officer numbers or unit assignments by City and Dept like the Comal Co Wiki page.
I tried pouring the 47 pages in this LCRA P25 thread and quickly thought there has to be a better way!
I know you both could practically do this off the top of your head and perhaps checking your notes, etc.

I am with Don I don't usually post CID or SWAT talk groups. Schertz has their own SWAT Team and they are encrypted and most of the rest of the area including Windcrest and Alamo Heights are part of the Alamo Area Metro SWAT combined team. Cibolo is the only one that is on the Guadalupe County joint team with Seguin. Each city has their own CID channel and are pretty easy to find when they use them. Which is not that often at all.

As for the Boerne Security talk group is that for the officers working the schools on campus? I know BPD has school resource officers at all the middle and high school campus locations and have heard them calling in when on and off duty there on BPD primary.

NC5267: I'm not sure, the traffic I heard was "Can anybody hear me on the BISD security Channel?" The person responding just told them yes and that was the end of the conversation. I didn't get a chance to see radio ID's, I was tied up across the room when it took place. I've been keeping the scanner pretty close lately so hopefully I can catch it when it comes up again.

TG 65304 is a patch that has BPD on it. Can someone tell me what is patched? Traffic is about tonight's football game.

Don both you and Dark_Side have stumbled on NBFD Fire 6 being used at Wurstfest.
I submited both the 11036 and 11037 TG's to the RRDB to be posted.

11036 2b1c D NBFD Fire 6 Fire 6 Fire-Tac (Wurstfest FD/EMS Event use)
11037 2b1d D NBFD Fire 7 Fire 7 Fire-Tac
11038 2b1e D NBFD Fire 8 Fire 8 Fire-Tac (Already in the RRDB)

Has anybody logged the NBPD working the Wurstfest on their Encrypted NBPD Event TG 11009 ?

I analyzed the Live Oak site for a few minutes and saw mainly the following NB TG's
11001 2af9 DE NBPD Disp Police 1 Dispatch Law Dispatch
11017 2b09 D NBFD Fire 2 Fire 2 Regular Response Fire-Tac
11036 2b1c D NBFD Fire 6 Fire 6 Fire-Tac (Wurstfest FD/EMS Event use)

Using the HP-1E in analyze mode the TG's not in the RRDB are colored green and existing TG's are colored white.

I analyzed the Smithson Valley site real quick and did not see any NB TG's just Schertz
12103 2f47 D Schertz PD 2 Police Patrol 2 Dispatch (includes Cibolo PD) Law Dispatch

Some of you are able to receive the New Braunfels LCRA P25 site to better examine NB talkgroups,
