Hello everyone......I must say what a great site you have hear. I'm so glad to have found it.

I live in Lebanon and work in Willimantic.

I'm just starting to get into radio...I'm building a kit and just installed a cb in my car. I have a Radioshack pro-43 coming in the mail and I was wondering what I have to look foward to with it.

What channels (for the cb) and frequencies might I be interested in listening to?

You can just point me in a direction if you want as I have no idea where to start.

I appreciate your help very much - Justin

Welcome...

Welcome to the hobby...
The PRO-43 is a great scanner and you will enjoy it.
What I would do is take a look at the radio reference database and see what frequency's are in your area. The PRO-43 is a great airband receiver so you certainly can listen to planes and Military aircraft.
The 43 is a conventional scanner and it will not work on trunked systems which are becoming more and more common. But, there is still a lot of conventional systems around.

As far as CB goes, I can't help much there.

Best of Luck...
