LED Display options

Is it possible for the TRX1 to light up only when a transmission comes through and go off when there is no transmissions?

Right now I have it set so that the LED is lighted all the time that the scanner is on. I played around with the Ezscan software but can't figure it out.

In EzScan, Display settings use "Key". Scanner then lights on each hit.

I think the light on unmute option is what you are after. It is a check box on the first tab of EZ-Scan.

It is the unmute option you want and you should set the screen brightness to low it will help on the batteries

I meant to say Backlight Setting not Display Setting in EZScan. Also make sure you have set individual TG/Frq for Bklt/Led to on.

This is where you will change the settings
1. Mode (Pwr) switch to ON
2 Check the box, on when Unmuted
3. Then set you Level to (Low) to help with battery
4. Then set timeout (Sec) to what ever you want the back screen to stay on after the traffic. I have mine to 3sec also to help with battery
