I'm vacationing south of Ft myers. I Pre Loaded Lee/Collier County in my BCD325P for my trip. I also loaded Monroe Co seeing our condo has a line of site to the south towards the keys. To my surprise, Monroe started chatting away along with a the local stuff. I knew something was wrong when I took my antenna off and I still got a strong signal. I did some investigating and noticed the control channel was 852.125. The SID came up as 036h-0102. I couldn't find that control channel in Lee's P-25 RR info (also listed in Monroe's P-25) but it was loud and clear. I knew it was Lee when I heard Lee Control. Some of the Id's I logged were a mix of Fire/EMS/Police but mostly Fire/EMS. 543/2861/3777/189/571/2865. Being on vacation, I'm not dedicating a lot of time to this but I wanted it to get to someone down here that could listen and confirm/tweak then eventually submit the fined tune info

Thanks for posting this information, I own a condo on the north end of Lee County in Burnt Store Marina that I visit several times a year so any info is appreciated for this area, I have found that the Sheriff's department on P25 is North only with EMS and Fire North also using P25, as of this past March. I will be back down there in a few weeks so I will check and see if any of the other sectors have switched to P25.

Please post any other information you may find.
Thanks,

I'm in Ft. Myers (Sanibel) now until 5/21 with my BC396T. Anything I can do to check things out? My database shows a full page of P25 talkgroups. Sheriff is N, E, and S. EMS is N and S. Lots of Cape Coral FD. CC PD is encrypted, as is Sanibel PD.

I show the talkgroups mentioned above, except for 189 and 2865. Any idea what those are for?

Thanks for the update, I will be done in the area in a few weeks, last time I was there, only north Lee County Sheriff was using P25, looks like from what you are saying that East and South are now?

Not sure what 189 or 2865 is, will see what I can find.
Thanks for the info

I think I need your email. I don't see how to add an attachment to a private message?

I'll just post both my databases here.

Actually, the PDF labeled "Digital Main" is really their old analog trunked system.

But more importantly, the P25 list has a great many more talkgroups listed than are in the RadRef database here. You'd be doing a great service to submit them for all to see in the database. All your hard work is tucked away in this thread that will scroll down and be lost to time if you just leave it here.

I'm curious how you came up with those encrypted talkgroup uses? Couldn't have been by monitoring them :)

Thanks.

Thanks - I just submitted my info to RR. I don't recall right now how I got the encrypted uses. I'll have to check my files.

As far as I can tell from monitoring, the analog list is still current, as I still hear these talkgroups when I'm in Lee County.
