Lee County P25 Systems (361.BEE00) and (AD6.BEE00)

not to really muddy up the water here, but Lee County has a (new to me anyway) P25 system.

System is in the database. I am not able to get a good copy on Site 1.1, but i did get data for site 1.2 and 1.3

TGs 22212, 22214 and 22216 (TDMA) are active on this system - but I cannot decode the audio.
NOTE: DSD+ is NOT reporting these as encrypted - so someone local should be able to hear them.

Does anyone know why this new system is not showing up in the Master RR Database on Sentinel? All the other Lee County systems show up. I'd like to start a Favorites List for this system.

There needs to be at least one talkgroup in the RR Database in order for a system to populate in Sentinel.

Nothing is stopping you from entering the control channels manually and searching for new talkgroups.

When there are no Talkgroups listed it won’t show up

This has to take the record for the longest cutover in history.

Hillsborough County has been working on its P-25 system since 2010 or 2011 still not running full time on all TG's

Fort Myers Police (Lee County, FL) just upgraded their system possibly to the p-25 phase 2 and I can not find the new frequencies. Where can I find it?

Just set up the system in your scanner and do ID Search. I'll be there in May, and I hope we have more info on this system by then. Please post anything you find.

from what I can tell, the primary license for the new P25-p2 system is WRJN740 and WQLQ731

just my take here on how the license is structured seems to indicate to me that this is a multi-site simulcast system with sites in Sanibel, Boca Grande, Alva, Bonita Springs, Cape Coral and Fort Myers. doug

I’ll be in Lee County next weekend. But I can’t find any TGs for “Fort Myers Police” in the current P25 system. (Not the new Phase2 one with no TGs in the database.) Would any one have the current P25 Phase 1 Ft Myers Police TGs? TIA

I agree. They never moved to the P25 system.

Fort Myers PD is no longer on the smartnet system. Local scanner listeners reported they have switched to fulltime encryption on the P25 system.

So Lee County has 2 P25 systems, 1 Phase 1 and another Phase ll? Man, that doesn’t make sense. I was down there last month and LCSO was in the clear on the P1 system. You guys have any idea what is going on? I will be down there Friday.

They must be gradually shifting over to the P25 Phase II. Looks like FM PD was first. Disappointing to hear they are encrypted.
