Hello all,

I'm going to buy a base scanner for up at the cottage; it's located in Central Frontenac, but I'm going to also program for the surrounding counties and townships.

Leeds and Grenville are on the south east border and they are P25, however the county listing show Rideau Lakes Twp. as having an analog dispatch/talk around frequency.

The rest of the county has POCSAG for paging. I'm wondering(if anyone knows) of Rideau Lakes is doing their own thing and is paged out analog and uses analog for comms as opposed to the county P25.

It could make a difference with regards to buying a BCT15X or WS1065.

Thanks.

As you say Leeds and Grenville is a P25 "Digital" system.
So forget about the BCT15x scanner..that is strickly ANALOG.
You need to go with your other choice. The Whistler WS1065 that is Digital.
