Lee's Summit Has new radio system starting soon, I heard all ch will be encrypted
Hearing encryption? I have a feeling they will be.
Fire is back on 453.900 here in Lee's Summit. I are you listening to voice calls or only logging? I'm curious as to what is in the clear.
I found this thread today. I went looking after both scanners went silent. I have looked in RR database and can not find the new 349xx TG listed. help please, what am I missing ?
Can you submit to RR database?Verified info for Lee's Summit:
Confirmed frequencies (per Pro96com) are:
855.3625 (Voice)
855.8375 (Voice)
858.0375 (Voice)
858.5875 (alternate control channel)
859.4875 (alternate control channel)
859.8625 (alternate control channel)
860.7875 (primary control channel)
They appear to be running Phase 2 exclusively.
So far, I've only seen talkgroups 34925, 34927, active (both presumed to be PD). 34925 appears to be encrypted. 34927 has been a mix of clear voice with some encryption. 34952 has also been active (no encryption).
I haven't heard any activity on the LSPD UHF frequencies, but that could be due to distance. Still unsure about fire. I'll try to do a side by side comparison later once I have another scanner and a Unication device at my disposal.
Lees Summit Mo Police it seems has switched to Metropolitan Area Radio System however when I do a database update it doesnt show up under that system. RR says thats where it is. Any ideas?
