Legacy PSR-800 no audio

Hello group, I have a prs-800, I charged the unit for a short time, turned unit back on and no audio. I checked all the settings. Any ideas?

Yes, checked wx and messed with squelch and took antenna off. Nothing

Plug an earphone or external speaker into the earphone jack. If you hear sound, then the scanner's speaker is blown.

If still no sound, the problem is more serious.

I tried earpiece still no sound, Whistler thinks its a corrupt micro sd card

It could be, use windows error checker on the card/drive, then use "prepare the card feature" in ezscan, press WX for NOAA until you hit a frequency, if still no audio reload the cpu firmware.
