For some reason I've decided to explore the RFinder, ovepriced android craziness. It seems like there's a bunch of different resellers. Anyone know which one is the "real" one? Does anyone have experience with them good or bad?

I've looked at them before and have some interest in the P10 tablet, but not serious enough to pull the trigger and drop the $$$ for it. If I were going to purchase I'd buy from a reputable dealer such as Ham Radio Outlet.

These are the real guys. They even showed up at Dayton/Xenia while in development. Overpriced? If you add the price of a cell phone to that of a good HT with also DMR, not that far from what you get.

As far as I know, RFinder is the legitimate importer/seller of these radios. They may have re-sell arrangements with the major amateur radio stores.

If the device is useful as a smartphone, it might be worth it. However, I've heard that the smartphone capabilities are a few generations behind the current crop of Android phones, so that might be a consideration.

Yeah, it looks like the Android it's running is several generations old. But I'm not trying to use it as a cell phone either. I have a few other (non-ham related) devices that use Android that's old and it seems to be fine for purpose-built devices.

I've seen some other posts that talk about the interface being a bit confusing/clumsy. And some other discussion about audio quality.

Of course, lately I've been seeing stuff about the new M6 which is what has me curious again...
