Lenoir City Police And Loudon County Sheriff Office Is Going Unencrypted

80 percent of the car to car communications are in the clear radio state where it all can be monitored, unknown when dispatch is going to go clear also.

They have no plans to unencrypt under the current Sheriff. There PIO said there is no plans to un encrypt. Deputies will eventually turn off their encryption in some situations even know they are not supposed to under the current policy. We will have to find a sheriff in Loudon that doesn't believe in full encryption. To stop it.Lenoir City Fire and Police continue to use mixed encryption.
