MoSWIN has techs but something’s still have to be handled by Motorola. Aside from a frequency being added to a site and general maintenance and alarm check most thing for MoSWIN are done remotely.
As far as scanners, I didn’t have many issues programming when I started with the newer scanner in 2015…but I was used to setting up two way radios. Where I am we have three of the commercial digital modes running for public safety.
