my little shack

Well here it is a quick snap shot of me shack.

Radios on top are 3 older mutiband radios a venturer,Patrolman-4 and a Holiday.(all still work great)

To the left is my Pro-2006 and below that is a DX-398.

Center is a BCT-15,Kensung KG-6228 (UHF)M-PA (800mhz I think) and a Pro-96

To the right is a tapped BC-278CLT and under that is a mint Pro-52,looking for some crystals for that one.

The 3 speakers you see are a bearcat(left)Wooden cased with volume(above the pro-2006),realistic(right)

Shack is constantly changing but the Pro-96 and the older radios will always stay :)

Nice.
What kind of antenna are you using to get what looks like the Guelph West tower on your GRE scanner?

Just a simple homemade dipole on my roof cut for 140 MHz connected to about 100 ft of 75 Ohm coax. Was supposed to be a temp antenna 2 years ago, but I'm so happy with the results I'm getting, I just left it up there.

Would you believe I actually got it for $100-150 for that, along with a D104 mic, and another RS Desk mic, plus a 7 ft. FireStik whip antenna with a magnet.

Ya I know, bargain deal, it's great to have sister n' laws that have no clue about stuff like that. But I told her though it'd be in good hands coming to me anyhow.

Cool setup I use to own a cobra 2000 many moons ago,the one you have is in very nice shape, very nice.
