It's great to see that the wiki continues to grow - however what's not so great is the number of orphan page(s) that we now have...see the link below...
Orphaned pages - The RadioReference Wiki
For those that might be new - orphans are a problem because they link to no other article or are linked to by nothing. So no matter how good the data you put there happens to be, it's difficult - maybe even impossible, given how much the wiki has grown - to search and find a given 'orphan'. Creating 'orphans' is also officially a no-no, as defined in the user's guide.
It's also mentioned in the guide that an article should belong to at least one category. This is an additional level of indexing, maintained by the MediaWiki software. This too can help locate a given article easily since all articles are listed alphabetically.
If you need an article to be dropped, please follow the guidelines as defined in the manual. If the article is already an orphan, blank the page completely (including any category links), then send a note to W9RXR or Bezking to have the page deleted. If you need to find out how to link an article, a note to either gentlemen or myself will bring a quick response. You can also view almost any page's coding to see how links are built.
Thanks for reading this, and for helping keep our huge wiki (now well over 6000 pages, making it one of the largest - if not the largest- radio related wiki on the planet) organized and informative
