18 Aug 2009 - 9AM - Tuesday - radio test by Lewiston Maine FD - 153.95 R - PL 127.3
"all units switch to F2" (F2 = "State Fire Channel" apparently)
5 minutes of silence on 153.95 as they apparently test on F2 (? 154.31 ? )
Then they test on "F1" - 153.95 R
Eng 3,4,5,6,7 - Ladder 1 - Unit 415,430,437 - Squad 1
then the portables switch to F2 and test
then the portables test on F1 - P31 P32 P33 P41 P42 P43 P51 P52 P53 P61 P62 P63 P71 P72 P73 - all units are 100% into the repeater - L1 L2 L3 - P415 - P415 Command Primary - P416 - P431 - P432 - P437
The dispatcher IDs as KCD577 - "Comm Center" is the dispatcher's identifier
On 20 Aug 2009 I heard them start a hazmat training exercise - dispatch and initial comms were on F1 but they quickly switched to "Tac channel" - the dispatcher could hear units on the Tac channel
I dont think that the Tac channel is the same as F2
